Compassion @ Bethel

Reaches out to our local community by providing bread, fresh produce, and groceries to those in need. Each week we serve about 150 families. We also serve a hot meal which is prepared by Metropolitan Ministries to about one hundred people

Doors open at 5:30 pm every Tuesday. At 6 pm we sing and share the Gospel and at 6:30 dinner is served and the Food Pantry opens. Clothing also is shared as available. By 7:30 pm we have finished distributing and cleaned up the Fellowship Hall.

Jesus said “as you have done it to the least of these you have done unto to me”.’ He also said, “Come and see”. Volunteers are always in need and on average we have about 25 people helping, serving food and working the distribution. Community hours can be worked and high school volunteer hours can be earned.
